The Jet Business, an aircraft broker, has opened the world’s first corporate aviation showroom for business jet aircraft in London’s Hyde Park Corner. This exclusive location is just the starting point. They have plans to open a store in the Chinese city of Beijing as well as another in New York City. The showroom is the brainchild of Steven Varsano who strongly advocates this user-friendly way of testing the product.
The featured example is the Airbus ACJ319 cabin. Beyond the cabin is a private meeting room featuring a large video wall on which sample interiors can be displayed, as well as extensive data about available aircraft options. During visits to the store, clients can sit down with The Jet Business team and use customized iPads to work through various options and sets of data (all of which can be viewed on the large screens). The company has developed its own application for the aircraft selection process.
