The highly anticipated Rolls-Royce Wraith has officially been set to debut at this year Geneva Motor Show on March 5. Rolls- Royce CEO Torsten Müller-Ötvös ignited the anticipation after describing the Wraith as “the most powerful Rolls-Royce that has ever played host to the famous Spirit of Ecstasy figurine.”
Last week Rolls-Royce Motor Cars published the first official image of the new model. Its elegant silhouette gives the notion of a bold luxury design with dramatic power. Though no exact details on the coupe’s power has been released, every detail hints that the Wraith could be the most powerful Rolls-Royce in history. Autoweek reported that the model will most likely carry a 6.0-liter V12 engine that should create about 600 hp. Currently, Roll-Royce’s four-door Ghost is pulling enough power to move the sedan from zero to 60 mph in 4.7 second. The Wraith’s time is expected to be less.
The car will make its debut in March, but motor enthusiasts will need to wait for the powerful coupe to go on sale at the end of the year. When it does, it will join the Ghost, Phantom, Phantom Coupe, and Phantom Drophead Coupe.
