The Olympics games get underway August 5th and Magellan Jets, a Massachusetts-based jet card seller has created a 20-hour membership using a Gulfstream G450 designed to cover the flight time needed to cover the roundtrip US-Brazil journey.
Priced at $290,000, it works out to an hourly rate of $14,500, and includes waiving international fees. You also get six VIP tickets to be used August 5-10, including opening ceremony in Category A, plus access to three short Category A event tickets or five Category B tickets. Some of the options include swimming, beach volleyball, equestrian water polo, gymnastics, and shooting.

There is one invitation to an Olympic Hospitality Tent for one day, plus there is 24-hour onsite concierge assistance, according to Magellan. A G450 can seat up to 12.
Clearly, if you are going, you will need to bulk up on what’s being offered on the ground, including a place to sleep. However, the offer is a good benchmark to use if you are shopping for private jet solutions as you head south.
