The Viscount’s Table: Viscount Perran Von Hoehen’s Guide to the Good Things in Life
Cigars from Midtown Manhattan to Soho, London & Beyond

One of my favorite things to do in two of my favorite cities is sit down after a long, or, equally, a short day and have a cigar or two. For me, it is normally two, as I tend to be more partial to the second. And while I am happy to try new cigar clubs and shop around the world, in New York and London, it seems I always return to the same places time and time again. New York’s Barclay Rex on Lexington Avenue has long been my New York favorite, as it sits literally a stone’s throw from where I usually stay in the Big Apple. However, that is not why I frequent it — Barclay Rex is rather one of the more important reasons I favor the hotel. Meanwhile, smack in the middle of London’s Wardour Street, is La Casa del Habano. Since I have a residence in London, I can’t say it’s the relationship to my home that is important here, as it is rather further afield. Here, the relationship is all about Cuba. From Barclay Rex in New York to La Casa del Habano in London, we have two very different, but equally wonderful worlds of cigars.
