Joshua Hebert, Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Joshua Hebert

Former Wall Street executive and Magellan Jets founder, Joshua Hebert, brings the financial savvy of the world’s trading center to the company he launched in September 2008.

In Magellan Jets, Joshua realized his dream of melding his passion for aviation with the knowledge and expertise in financial relations he gleaned from serving at the prestigious firms of Shearson Lehman, Sands Brothers and Paine Webber.

When Joshua founded the company he was already an experienced business aviation manager.

In 2000, he helped build Charter Auction, a private jet company. As sales and marketing director, he led the sales team in 2001 by increasing the company’s growth an astounding 600 percent. The following year, Joshua became managing partner and executive vice president, where he managed all of Charter Auction's sales, concierge, aircraft membership and fulfillment departments.

Joshua also oversaw the company’s private jet membership program and on-demand charter sales, that later became Jets.com. In his last year at the company, he brokered an exclusive marketing deal with the New England Patriots.

Prior to making his mark at Charter Auction, Joshua applied his sales magic at The Boston Business Journal, a division of American City Business Journals, Inc., a Conde Nast company. As the Journal’s sales manager in 1997, he boosted sales by an incredible 800 percent margin and earned the company its highest sales award for the next three years.

In his rare down time, Joshua serves on several board of directors including The Heath Evans Foundation, Iowngreen.com and, previously, Jets.com. He’s chairman of the board at Magellan Jets.

Anthony Tivnan, President
Anthony Patrick Tivnan

Anthony Tivan’s acclaim as a mover and shaker in the business aviation world was already major news before becoming president and co-owner of Magellan Jets.

Anthony made his mark as a mentor, trainer and manager at Jets.com where he eventually became one of the company’s top-tier leaders. From the start, in 2002, he was a consistent top sales producer: He regularly led his sales team by more than 115 percent in revenues!

Because of his strong sense of leadership and ability to train and motivate others, Anthony was asked to teach the successful techniques that helped jump start his career. That job led him to becoming the company’s vice president in 2006 and its executive vice president in 2008.

As executive vice president, he worked with the company’s marketing and concierge divisions to burnish Jet.com’s brand by cultivating strong customer and vendor relationships. He also managed the retail sales department and Jets.com’s sales teams in Quincy, Mass. and New York City.

Anthony completed pilot ground school at Alpha One Flight School in Plymouth, Mass. He serves on the board of directors at Magellan Jets and Iowngreen.com.

From the start, he set the firm’s first-year production record and became Rookie of the Year. In 1996, Doug joined Smith Barney. In just two years, Doug tripled the size of the Naples sales team and doubled revenues. By 1998, Doug was managing the firm’s two offices in Charlotte, North Carolina. Within two years, he expanded Smith Barney’s presence in the Charlotte area to five offices.

In 2001, Merrill Lynch hired Doug as senior vice president and sales manager for the Florida region, where he led the wealth management business in Miami, Tampa, St. Petersburg, Jacksonville and Orlando.
