Beginning with the innovative Challenger 600, Bombardier established a successful and popular series of business jets. As the fourth installation of Challenger 600 family, the Challenger 604 has undergone numerous changes to further refine and perfect the performance of this already admired jet.
Widely held as a “major” upgrade from the Challenger 601 design, Bombardier’s Challenger 604 has employed the use of more advanced engines, increased fuel capacity, new undercarriage for a heavier takeoff and landing weight, structural improvements to wings and tail, and last but most certainly not least, a Rockwell Collins ProLine 4 avionics system. Essentially, these updates provide for a smoother, more convenient, and safe flight for both pilot and passenger.
The Challenger 604 provides a spacious cabin and amenities including, but not limited to a forward galley that has a high temperature oven, microwave, and coffee maker. For entertainment purposes, a Challenger 604 is typically outfitted with a DVD system and two display monitors. For capacity purposes, this jet usually can accommodate between nine to twelve passengers. The composition of the cabin typically consists of two groups of forward and aft facing conference group seats, the rear cluster opposite a divan belted for four passengers. By design, it provides corporate and government leaders with the widest - and indeed, one of the quietest - cabins in the industry, in which passengers can work or rest in total comfort and tranquility. It is also designed to ensure that the Bombardier Challenger aircraft, and those who fly in them, continue to stay ahead of all others.
The Bombardier Challenger 600 series’ highly regarded family of jets, in union with updated avionics and “tried and true” requirements of private aviation aficionados is a well informed selection.
