Aircraft Management Sales Director

LOCATION: Quincy, MA
REPORTS TO: CEO & President
DATE: May 2009

Overview

Leads campaign to generate Aircraft Management agreements for Magellan Jets preferred operator(s). In addition to seeking out and signing on new Aircraft Management agreements, this individual will be cross-selling all of Magellan Jets service products.

Job Functions
  • Develops and drives Aircraft Management Objectives, Goals, Strategies and Measures in order to build charter and managed aircraft business.
  • Gathers market information to develop sales strategies.
  • Provides comprehensive reporting as required.
  • Makes outbound prospecting sales calls, follows-up on inbound leads, respond to request for proposal and other bid and proposal opportunities, qualifies leads, prepares and presents Aircraft Management proposals, and closes deals.
  • Maintains and builds on assigned customer relationships.

  • Cost Consciousness - Works within approved budget; Develops and implements cost saving measures; Contributes to profits and revenue; Conserves organizational resources
  • 3+ years demonstrated experience in sales and contract negotiations in Charter and Managed Aircraft Operations required.
  • Strong background in 135 aircraft operations/regulations required.


Magellan Jets Membership Consultant

  • 4 year college degree required
  • Minimum 5 years aviation experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required
  • Detail oriented and able to perform in a fast paced, multitasking environment
  • High end sales experience a must
  • In depth knowledge of FAA and DOT regulations a must
  • FAA licensed pilot preferred
