A suicidal passenger was tried for antics that occurred January 7th. The passenger tried to open the door to the airplane 32,000 feet. Passenger, Ann Gilmour, was spotted and restrained by the cabin crew of an Air France trip from Paris to Edinburgh. She pled guilty at Edinburgh Sheriff Court to recklessly and negligently endangering an aircraft and passengers on board. Her sentence has been deferred for background reports. Gilmour has borderline personality disorder and was trying to jump out to kill herself. The door opening would have explosively depressurized the cabin and caused catastrophe when the cabin instantly dropped to negative fifty degrees Celsius.
