Fly like a G6 - or should we say G650!

Now I’m feelin' so fly like a G6, like a G6, like a G6.

You might recognize these lyrics from the Billboard Top 100 song, “Like a G6”. The electro-house single by Far East Movement has been number 1 on iTunes and currently has more than 9 million views on YouTube.

So why is it that you’re “feelin' so fly like a G6”? And what is a G6? One member from Far East Movement, Kev Nish, told MTV News,

A G6 is not a Gatorade flavor. It’s not a car, convertible, four-door. It’s not a watch. But Drake, Drake talks about having G4 pilots on deck, so we said, ‘What’s flyer than a G4?’ Of course, it would be a G6.

But we still want to know what a G6 really is. The G6 refers to the Gulfstream G650, a twin-engine business jet by Gulfstream Aerospace that's currently in flight testing. The aircraft will become Gulfstream’s largest, fastest, and most expensive business jet to enter the market. The G650 is considered to be the ultimate gold standard in business aviation. The cost will start at $58.5 million! Feelin' like a G6 yet? Check out some of the cabin dimensions below and a link to the hit song.
